The Channel Following function ensures that you remain tuned to the selected TV channel.
Select: Function selector button MEDIA > source TV tuner > function selector button SETUP > Channel Following.
Channel Following on
The activated Channel Following function tries to retain the current TV channel even if you leave its transmission area. To do so, the system automatically switches between alternative analogue or digital TV channels possibly within reception range. For instance, if you leave the service area of a digital channel and if this channel can also be viewed via analogue TV reception, the TV tuner automatically switches to the analogue alternative, and vice versa (depending on reception conditions).
Channel Following off
If the Channel Following function is switched off, the system will not automatically switch between alternative digital and analogue channels. If you leave the transmission area of the currently selected TV channel, it may no longer be received.
